Field Service Technicians | Ebner Furnaces, Inc.

EBNER Furnaces, Inc. is a global manufacturer of large industrial annealing furnaces, pressure vessels, and custom metal fabrications. Due to growth in the U.S. operations, we are seeking multiple qualified individuals for the following positions:

The Field Service Technician positions operate on-site in an on-call capacity and involves up to 50% travel. Duties include installation, start-up, service, equipment repair, and training customer employees on how to maintain machinery. The technician performs trial runs of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications. Set-up includes combustion, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, gas, and fluids. The technician should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and works under minimal supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Successful candidates will have experience with industrial electrical/electronic troubleshooting (control relays, power supplies, contactors, motor starters, I/O testing, etc.). Pneumatics, hydraulics, gas and fluid, combustion, and PLC knowledge is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office 2010 is required and SAP experience is a plus.
