Production and Design Student Assistant
The University of Akron Press seeks a Production and Design Student Assistant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create new product catalogs and update existing ones
- Create promotional content for print, web, and social media platforms
- Check page proofs
- Maintain and update materials as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, particularly InDesign
- A basic understanding of design principles
- Must be self-motivated and follow instructions (both written and verbal)
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Dependable, friendly, cooperative, and organized
