Lead Teacher

1. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for daily learning activities based on Ohio Academic Content Standards for Kindergarten in literacy and math; including behavioral, music and movement, and small and large motor skill development.

 

2. Maintain focus of literacy foundation and instruction with daily activities.

 

3. Incorporate a variety of instruction strategies utilizing team member skills and talents.

 

4. Establish and maintain classroom standards for student behavior necessary for a functional teaching and learning environment.

 

5. Identify and assess student needs and work with team members to ensure student needs are addressed and students are assisted to solve problems.

 

6. Prepare post-program Skills Assessment Report for each student to forward to their regular school year teacher.

 

7. Manage team members, delegate duties, and provide oversight and supervision to team members.

 

8. Abide by all agency and school policies and follow all agency and school protocols.

 

Bachelor of Science in Education

Teaching Experience required

Early Childhood Education License required.
