Class Assistant

1.     Support Lead Teacher in his/her work and help maintain positive classroom environment.

 

2.     Actively participate in implementation of daily lesson plans under direction of Lead Teacher.

 

3.     Prepare materials and the classroom each day.

 

4.     Take attendance when children are checked in and when check out in the afternoon.

 

5.     Be aware of and attend to the needs of the children.

  

6.     Support established classroom standards for student behavior in the classroom or on the playground.

 

 

7.     Assist Lead Teacher or Program Coordinator as required.

 

 

8.     Abide by all agency and school policies and follow all agency and school protocols.

Current College Student, preferably junior or senior status.

Experience and desire to work with small children.

Excellent attendance and reliable.
