Job description: FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING! Provide parking attendants for special events on main UA campus toward the end of the Spring 2021 semester and Summer 2021. Entails working outside in seasonal weather conditions such as cold, heat, snow and rain. Parking attendant will assist guests to park their vehicle within a lot and help control access within certain lots. Special event workers will occasionally assist in set up/tear down of cones and barricades. Shifts are mostly in the evenings and weekends for three hour shifts or more. Must be willing to work at least 10 hours per week (hours are based on events on campus with parking needs).

Desired skills and qualifications: Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours the Spring 2021 to be eligible to work. You do not have to be enrolled during the Summer, but have to have been at least a half time student in the Spring 2021 and will be enrolled during the Fall 2021 semester. Excellent customer service skills preferred and ability to communicate in a professional manner with students, faculty and guests of UA. Must be dependable and punctual. Good interpersonal/verbal communication with a positive attitude. Basic math and money handling. Ability to follow instructions and perform duties independently is a must. Knowledge of campus is preferred, but not required.
