Analyst

1. Analysis

a) Perform analyses as assigned including chemical, bacteriological, bioassay, DNA, forensics

b) Complete QC assignments and documentation

c) Work independently from standard operating procedures

d) Perform data handling, data reduction and calculations

e) Review standard operating procedures and perform analysis as in procedure

2. Quality Assurance/Quality Control Functions

a) Perform assigned quality control documentation

b) Assist in the training and supervision of Analyst I and Laboratory Assistants

c) Perform MDL studies

d) Assist in method development

3. Equipment Maintenance

a) Perform equipment maintenance as required or assigned

b) Troubleshoot instruments as needed

4. General

a) Assist in prep of supplies for customers

b) Assist in sample log-in

c) Assist with sampling as needed
