Join our 2027 Summer Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the world of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance from the perspective of the Retail Broker. This program will expose you to commercial Insurance through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the industry’s leading experts and experienced professionals. Throughout the Program, you can expect to build upon the academic foundations you have established at school and apply your learning to real-world scenarios.
The Program will run for 6 weeks: June 7, 2027 - July 23, 2027 (week of July 5th -off)
The salary for this position is $ 1.000 per week
This role is not a SALES POSITION, and you will not be making cold calls!
Your Impact & Opportunity
- You will support our casualty and property teams in the day-to-day processes as well as meet with clients as part of the overall internship.
- Collaborate on the presentation preparation
- Assist in reporting and data analytics.
- Shadow the President of the Firm and Brokers – Information gathering and exposure analysis.
- Grow and develop while participating in a variety of leader-led, professional and personal development workshops, networking events, and the like.
What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications
- You are a sophomore, junior, or Senior in the FSU RMI program or FSU Finance Program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Claude/Anthropic skills highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Leadership or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities
- Spanish language proficiency: not required - but would be an advantage
