Community Outreach Coordinator
About EXO
EXO Workshops teaches infant and child CPR, first aid, and emergency preparedness to parents and caregivers. Our
classes are led by active first-responder parents and medical professionals.
The role
Help EXO build relationships with local organizations and professionals who serve families. You’ll introduce EXO, start
conversations, and develop referral relationships that lead to private in-home workshop bookings.
What you’ll do
• Identify potential partners: doulas, pediatric offices, daycares, parenting groups, baby boutiques, and community
organizations.
• Introduce EXO through personalized emails, phone calls, and local visits.
• Follow up with interested contacts and arrange introductions with EXO leadership.
• Share existing workshop information and promotional materials.
• Keep a simple contact tracker with outreach history, next steps, and referrals.
• Connect interested families with EXO to arrange private workshops.
Who we’re looking for
Friendly, organized, and dependable, with the confidence to meet new people and follow up. An interest in family safety
and community health is important; NYC neighborhood knowledge is a plus. Students in communications, marketing,
public health, healthcare management, urban studies, or related fields are encouraged to apply. No graphic design or
social media management required.
What you’ll gain
Direct mentorship, a flexible schedule, and hands-on outreach and relationship-building experience. Course credit may
be available, subject to your school’s requirements
