Accounting and Tax Intern

2027 tax season paid internship available from a growing local CPA firm for college student in accounting or business related field. Must be quick learner, detail oriented, team player and motivated to learn new knowledge. Work experience is not required, but prefer to have basic accounting courses and good Excel knowledge. Any tax course or experience is a plus.

The internship starts in early January 2007 and lasts through late April 2027. Expected to work 15 to 20 hours per week. Possible continued part-time or full-time employment for good performer. OPT or H1B sponsorship is available if needed. Up to $28/hour based on qualification and experience.

The student intern will work closely with CPA and experienced accounting/tax professional to gain hands-on knowledge of book keeping, sales tax filing, organizing files and preparing financial statements for tax return, and filing individual and business tax return using tax software.
