About the role
PROLAMSA is a leader in manufacturing carbon steel tubes and components, serving construction, automotive, agricultural, furniture, and other industries across the American Continent. With plants and distribution centers in the United States and Mexico, we're known for client-focused culture, outstanding product quality, and reliable inventory supply.
We're looking for an HR Intern to support our HR team with day-to-day administrative and people operations tasks. It's hands-on work — you'll touch real processes, not just shadow meetings.
What you'll do
- Help maintain records for permits, vacation requests, absences, incidents, and I-9 documentation - Support research and outreach for employee benefit agreements — restaurants, phone plans, internet services, and similar - Assist with internal events and culture activities
About you
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated (any field welcome) - Bilingual — Spanish and English required - Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Available between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM - Some experience with administrative tasks, customer-facing work, and managing social media
Nice to have
- Interest in HR, people operations, or organizational culture - Comfort with detail-oriented recordkeeping
