About the Position

As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you'll support local marketing campaigns, customer outreach programs, and promotional activities throughout the Greater Cleveland area. You'll interact directly with customers, communicate information about client products and services, assist with customer inquiries and enrollment, and help create positive brand experiences.

This is a full-time, in-person position focused on face-to-face customer engagement, brand representation, promotional marketing, and professional communication.

Marketing and Communications Assistant Responsibilities

• Support local marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and customer outreach activities
• Communicate directly with prospective and existing customers through professional, face-to-face interactions
• Represent client brands and explain products, services, promotional offers, and available options
• Assist with brand awareness initiatives and customer engagement strategies throughout Greater Cleveland
• Build positive customer relationships through informative and engaging conversations
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with new customer enrollment and account-related information
• Participate in promotional events, campaign coordination, and daily marketing activities
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, campaign activity, and daily results
• Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing training to improve marketing, communication, and customer service skills

Marketing and Communications Assistant Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Available to work full-time and on-site in Cleveland, OH
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
• Comfortable interacting with customers and meeting new people
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and develop new marketing, communication, and customer engagement skills

No previous experience or specific college major is required. Candidates with interests or backgrounds in marketing, communications, business, public relations, psychology, customer service, hospitality, retail, or sales are encouraged to apply.
