Prudent Accountants | Richfield, MN Schedule: Full-time; on-siteCompensation: $27-$31 hour

Prudent Accountants is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant who is eager to learn and enjoys helping small business owners succeed. This opportunity is ideal for someone with foundational accounting experience looking to grow in a client-focused environment. You’ll develop your accounting, tax, and compliance skills while learning from experienced colleagues and using technology and AI tools to improve how work gets done.

What You’ll DoMaintain client financial records, categorize transactions, and reconcile accounts.Assist with draft financial reports, sales and income tax filings, and other compliance requirements. Proactively communicate with clients to gather documents, clarify questions, and understand their needs.Collaborate with our U.S. and international teams to deliver accurate, timely services. Follow established procedures, meet deadlines, and participate in ongoing training.

What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.Foundational accounting knowledge and interest in small business accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and compliance.Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; willingness to learn AI and automation tools.Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.A client-focused approach and ability to work with diverse clients and colleagues.Willingness to learn, apply feedback, and take ownership.Multilingual skills are a plus.
