Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician (Part-Time Internship/Program)
Locations: Frederick, MD
Schedule: 3 days per week
Program Dates: Flexible November through December
Pay: $18.75 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Apartment Maintenance Technician Program. This hands-on opportunity is designed for individuals interested in building a career in apartment maintenance and property management. Participants will gain real-world experience working alongside experienced maintenance professionals in multifamily residential communities.
Responsibilities:
Assist with routine maintenance and service requests in apartment units
Support turnover tasks including painting, cleaning, and unit preparation
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair tasks under supervision
Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Assist with preventive maintenance inspections
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and work areas
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
Interest in apartment maintenance, skilled trades, or facilities management
Basic knowledge of tools and general maintenance practices preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Reliable transportation to and from the property
Must be dependable and punctual
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
