Growth & Community Intern Orlando

Growth & Community Development Intern

Location: Orlando Campuses & Orlando Area
Type: Part-time internship, flexible hours

About the Role

PopID is a biometric payments company (palm pay, face pay) with a live presence in Orlando and growing. We're looking for an Orlando student to help us build real momentum on campus and in the surrounding community: connecting student orgs, clubs, and local groups with PopID and driving enrollment through relationships and events rather than traditional marketing.

This role is about community outreach and partnership building as much as it is growth. You'll be the face of PopID in Orlando, identifying the right clubs and organizations to partner with, getting in the room, and creating opportunities for students to experience palm pay firsthand.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and reach out to clubs, student organizations, and campus groups that are a natural fit for PopID partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with org leaders to create co-promoted enrollment activations and events
  • Represent PopID at campus events, tabling opportunities, and partner activations
  • Drive student enrollment at local merchant locations including Steak 'n Shake
  • Track outreach activity, partnership pipeline, and enrollment numbers and report back to the growth team
  • Help develop a repeatable campus outreach playbook for future markets

What We're Looking For

  • Current student with strong ties to campus organizations and the broader community
  • Natural networker: comfortable cold outreach, setting up meetings, and building relationships from scratch
  • Interest in growth marketing, partnerships, community building, or consumer behavior
  • Self-starter who can manage their own outreach pipeline and schedule independently
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable representing a brand in professional and social settings
  • Experience with student orgs, event planning, or any outreach-heavy role a plus
