Public Relations/Communications Intern: Spring 2027

Nicholas & Lence Communications is a New York City-based strategic communications, public relations and government affairs firm. As an intern, you would assist and support team members with day-to-day media relations efforts on behalf of the company's Lifestyle, Hospitality, Non-profit, Business Improvement District and Corporate clients.

Essential duties:

• Aid team members with various daily tasks

• Create targeted media lists based on clients needs

• Create event listings for upcoming client events

• Compile press reports

• Work with programs such as Cision, MuckRack and TVEyes (not requirement to know prior to internship)

• Implement social media strategies, including influencer outreach, via Instagram, Linkedin, X and TikTok.

• Monitor and track client coverage and general media on a daily basis to identify opportunities for client coverage

• Ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently and manage details

• Assist with high-profile events on behalf of clients (press conferences, networking events)

Credentials

-Must be able to work in a team-setting, yet be self- sufficient and self-motivated-Creative/ pro-active thinker, excellent social skills, detail-oriented, organized, hard worker, dedicated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment-Sophomore, Junior or Senior student preferred, 2 days a week, in-person at our Midtown Manhattan office.
