Lead your own restaurant in beautiful Charlottesville

What you'll do

  • Lead daily restaurant operations to meet McDonald's standards for quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Manage the restaurant P&L, including sales, labor, food cost, and controllable expenses
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop crew and shift managers using McDonald's Gold Standard training
  • Build schedules that meet labor targets and guest demand
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and cash-handling procedures
  • Enforce food safety, workplace safety, security, and company policies, and maintain health department and labor law compliance
  • Monitor guest feedback and drive improvements in speed of service and guest satisfaction
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and corrective action for the management team
  • Partner with the operations team to set and achieve restaurant goals

Experience

  • 2 years of college or restaurant management experience preferred; quick-service (QSR) experience a plus
  • Experience managing sales, labor, and food cost targets preferred
  • ServSafe Manager certification, or ability to obtain it after hire
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a team
  • Basic computer skills (POS, scheduling, email)
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

What's in it for you

  • Starting pay of $56,000 – $65,000 per year, based on experience
