Wedding & Event Sales Manager
NOW HIRING
Wedding & Event Sales Manager York, PA ·
Full-time · On-site, including some evenings and weekends
ABOUT THE BOND
Located in the vibrant Royal Square District of Downtown York, PA, The Bond is a distinctive wedding venue blending raw industrial architecture with refined elegance. Exposed brick. Dramatic lighting. Handcrafted chandeliers. A setting that transforms effortlessly from romantic ceremony to elevated reception. We believe couples aren’t booking just a room. They’re booking an experience and a team they trust with one of the biggest days of their lives.
THE ROLE
You’ll be the first-person couples, and event clients get to know at The Bond. You’ll guide them from their first inquiry to a signed contract, then hand them off to their day of coordinators for planning. We want someone who listens first, makes every couple feel taken care of, and knows how to turn that trust into bookings. This is the most important job at the Bond. We are looking for someone who is eager and excited about really leaning into this role and becoming our expert.

◆ Respond to every inquiry (email, phone, website, and social DMs) using the established protocol and workflow learning during training.
◆ Manage every lead in Dubsado, keeping notes, stages, and next steps current.
◆ Run a consistent, personal follow-up process so no lead goes cold. Tours and consultations
◆ Host in-person and virtual tours, tailored to each couple’s vision, guest count, and date.
◆ Follow up within 24 hours of every tour with a personal note and clear next steps. ◆ This is a sales position, not wedding planning or coordinating. Proposals and contracts

◆ Prepare contracts, collect deposits, and hand off each booking smoothly to the coordinator. Growing the calendar
◆ Meet monthly and annual booking goals, including filling open and off-peak dates.
◆ Grow non-wedding business: rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events, nonprofit galas, and community events.
◆ Represent The Bond at open houses, bridal shows, and networking events, and build relationships with preferred vendors who refer business.
◆ Work with our social media manager on content and on inquiries that come in through social. Reporting
◆ Track inquiry-to-tour and tour-to-booking conversion rates, plus lead sources.
◆ Share a weekly pipeline update and a monthly recap of results, lost-lead reasons, and ideas to improve. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
◆ Every inquiry gets a warm, personal reply within the established timeline.
◆ Tour-to-booking rate of 35% or higher.
◆ 55 weddings booked per year, at or near published pricing.
◆ A pipeline that is always accurate, so leadership knows where every lead stands.

◆ You have 2+ years of wedding venue sales experience.
◆ You’re warm, confident, and a great listener. People trust you quickly. You are professional in appearance and attitude.

◆ You write clear, friendly emails that sound like a real person with clear communication and tone.
◆ You’re motivated by goals and like seeing your numbers. This is a sales position, so a go-getter attitude is required.
◆ You’re available for evenings and weekends for tours, open houses, etc.

◆ Schedule: Full-time, flexible with evenings and weekends
◆ Pay: $50,000 per year plus 10% commission on sales
