Staff Accountant

Title:                            Staff Accountant

Department:                 Finance

Reports to:                   Controller

Essential Job Functions

• Perform monthly Balance Sheet, and Income Statement Account Analysis
• Assist in the Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements
• Support Month-End and Year-End Close Process
• Assist with:
  • A/R tasks – order releases, credit applications, invoicing, etc.
  • A/P tasks – vendor invoices associated with material receipts, commissions calculations, etc.
• Assist in Gathering and Preparing Document Requests for Audits
• Responsible for updating Trade Agreements governing pricing
• Document Business Processes and Accounting Policies
• Suggest Ways to Strengthen Internal Controls
• Ad Hoc Projects as needed

• Excel Proficiency including pivot tables, XLOOKUP and index/match etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
