A large Manhattan housing cooperative located in the Chelsea area is seeking a Full-time security officer. It is a 32BJ union position with benefits (medical, dental, pension, and 401k, just to name a few). Candidates must be able to obtain New York State Special Patrolman status. This requires that the candidate live in the 5 boroughs. The operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so candidates must be flexible and willing to work all shifts. Candidates are expected to perform security officer duties, including patrols, verticals, and reporting property-related issues. Must have excellent customer service, conflict resolution skills, and communication skills.
