Whitney Wellness Adult Day Center — Youngstown, OHPart-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday

Whitney Wellness Adult Day Center is looking for a Direct Care Professional to join our nurse-led team in Youngstown, Ohio. This role is central to the daily experience of our participants — seniors and adults who come to our center for support, connection, and care. What you'll do

- Provide personal care assistance — bathing, grooming, hygiene, and toileting — with dignity and respect- Help participants move safely through the center, including transfers and ambulation support- Lead or assist with daily activities, group programs, and social engagement- Observe and report changes in participant health or behavior to nursing staff- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the day- Document care as required and communicate with the team throughout each shift

About you

- Experience in a caregiving, direct care, or personal care role is a plus- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)- Comfortable assisting with personal hygiene and mobility needs- Patient, dependable, and genuinely kind with older adults and those with disabilities- Works well in a team environment under nurse supervision

Nice to have

- Experience in adult day programs or long-term care settings- CNA or similar certification- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety practices

You'll be part of a structured, nurse-led environment where the work is meaningful and the team is collaborative. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours — no nights, no weekends.
