ERP Data Specialist

Surface Engineering is looking for a candidate to help populate our ERP system with part and job data.  We've recently roller out ProShop to manage our manufacturing operations and are looking for a full time resource focused on a successful implementation.

Job responsibilities include verifying the BoM definition against actuality, entering raw part cost, outside processing operations, finish machining operations, and verifying the system is accurately calculating part and assembly costs.

Long term we hope to help mold an early career hire or new college graduate into an overall expert in ProShop, and help make sure we're taking advantage of all the features and capabilities to smooth out all of our operations, as well as become a visionary to help define and rollout continual improvements in all areas of our operations.

The ideal candidate has a desire to contribute to Lean operations, interest in the Toyota Way, and enjoys creating organized and disciplined processes.  We embrace learning and career advancement opportunities, and have a great team that will help you succeed.  We know we're not likely to find a ProShop expert, and know we need to invest in your growth to develop that expertise.

Desired skills:  Excel, Word, using AI to help make your job more efficient, asking questions and seeking help, and basic computer proficiency.  Interest in manufacturing in general is a great bonus.
