Social Media Intern

FWBG Marketing Internship — Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing Intern

Do you love social media, email, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes a campaign run — all at the most beautiful place in Fort Worth? We're seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to support our digital communications across social, email, and web, with a front-row seat to one of our biggest campaigns of the year: Christmas in the Garden.

To apply for this position, please send your resume and availability for this Fall to marketing@fwbg.org or apply through Handshake - we will be checking both.  Please also share any relevant writing or social samples in the email. There is opportunity for both the Fall 2025 semester and Spring 2026.

What you'll do

As our Digital Marketing Intern, you'll have the opportunity to:

Manage day-to-day social engagement: Respond to messages and comments across our social channels, monitor brand mentions, and help keep our community feeling heard — with clear guidance on what to answer and when to flag.

Support our biggest seasonal campaign: Help bring Christmas in the Garden to life by refreshing and re-editing proven social content, sourcing guest photos and videos, and building out a season's worth of scheduled posts for approval.

Build and QA email campaigns: Assemble newsletters and promotional emails in Mailchimp, and run quality checks on links, layout, and mobile rendering before they send.

Keep our website calendar current: Create events on our WordPress calendar and keep exhibit and program pages accurate and up to date.

Help us understand what's working: Assist with assembling marketing metrics, tagging links for tracking, and organizing our digital asset library.

Develop your skills: Gain hands-on experience across the full digital marketing stack (social, email, web, and analytics) in a professional environment.

How to apply

If you're organized, a strong writer, comfortable learning new tools, and excited to support real campaigns from start to finish, we encourage you to reach out to us at marketing@fwbg.org with your resume and availability for this Fall semester. A stipend will be provided upon internship completion.
