We are hiring a Franchise Management Trainee to join the Qiao Lin Hotpot team in Boston.
This is not a traditional restaurant management position. Our Management Trainee Program is designed to provide comprehensive, hands-on business training and exposure to multiple areas of restaurant and franchise operations—from daily store management and team leadership to financial management, supply chain coordination, marketing execution, and brand development.
You will not only learn how to manage a restaurant—you will learn how to operate and grow a restaurant business.
🌟 What You Will Learn & Experience
Full-Scope Brand & Franchise Operations
Gain a comprehensive understanding of how restaurant and franchise systems operate, including brand standards, supply chain coordination, operational efficiency, and the execution of brand strategies at the store level.
Financial & Business Management
Learn how to evaluate restaurant performance from an operator’s perspective. You will gain exposure to P&L management, labor cost control, food cost management, budgeting, sales analysis, and profitability analysis.
Leadership & Team Development
Learn how to recruit, train, motivate, and lead high-performing teams while building a positive service culture and strong team environment.
Marketing & Guest Experience
Participate in local marketing initiatives, customer engagement, promotional campaigns, brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
Entrepreneurial & Operational Mindset
Develop an understanding of how different departments and business functions work together within a restaurant company. Build the practical skills needed to manage a single location, oversee multiple locations, or potentially operate your own business in the future.
💼 What We’re Looking For
Recent Graduate Background
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Degrees in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Management, or related fields are a plus.
Entrepreneurial Mindset
You are curious about how businesses operate and want to learn through hands-on experience rather than classroom theory alone.
Strong Communication Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Candidates who are able to communicate professionally in both English and Mandarin are strongly preferred.
Problem-Solving Ability
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving real-world operational and business challenges.
Leadership Potential
You are proactive, responsible, adaptable, and motivated to grow into a future management or business leadership role.
