PC Director Internship - Summer 2027
Play a key role in bringing Woodchucks baseball to fans through live broadcast production and digital media. The PC Director Intern will help manage the technical elements of each game broadcast, including graphics, replays, video content, and live feeds, while working closely with the production team to deliver a professional and engaging broadcast. This position will also gain hands-on experience in video editing, content creation, and multiple areas of live sports production.
Responsibilities Include:
- Run graphics during live broadcasts, ensuring all information is accurate, timely, and meets Northwoods League broadcast standards
- Capture, organize, and run instant replays during live game broadcasts
- Monitor live feeds and make or recommend adjustments to maintain broadcast quality
- Communicate with the Northwoods League during broadcasts and assist with meeting league production requirements
- Record and produce pregame lead-in shows alongside the Woodchucks/Ignite broadcaster
- Edit lead-in shows, game footage, highlights, and other video content
- Maintain, organize, and upload highlights following games
- Edit and upload player headshots and other player related media
- Assist with pre- and post-game interviews
- Shoot and edit videos for social media, community events, promotions, and other team initiatives
- Operate cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment as needed
- Collaborate with the production team to create engaging visual storytelling throughout the season
- Ensure video and broadcast content maintains consistent Woodchucks/Ignite branding and visual standards
- Support the Production Director in planning and executing media projects and live game-day productions
- Assist with production scheduling, equipment logistics, and production meetings
- Maintain and organize video, camera, and production equipment
- Cross-train in the Videographer and Camera Director roles to gain experience across multiple areas of live sports production

Annually drawing in more than 50,000 fans from all over the state of Wisconsin, the Woodchucks and Ignite have a reputation of being a fun, family-friendly option for family and corporate entertainment in Central Wisconsin. The Woodchucks and Ignite annually hire 25-30 interns. Former interns have gone on to work for the Minnesota Twins, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburg Pirates, and many other minor league and collegiate league teams across the nation.
