Videographer Internship - Summer 2027
Bring Woodchucks baseball to life through engaging video content and live game-day production. The Videographer Intern will capture the action, energy, and behind-the-scenes moments of the Woodchucks season while creating content for social media, marketing, promotions, and the in-stadium experience. This position will also gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of live sports production.
Responsibilities Include:
- Capture in-game and behind-the-scenes footage of players, coaches, staff, fans, community events, and the overall ballpark experience
- Edit highlight reels, commercials, hype videos, promotional content, social media videos, and other digital media
- Shoot and edit player walk up videos for use on the stadium videoboard
- set up, operate, upload footage from Synergy cameras
- Support the Production Director in planning and executing video projects and live game-day productions
- Operate or assist with directing cameras during live events
- Collaborate with the production team to create engaging visual storytelling throughout the season
- Monitor live video feeds and make or recommend adjustments to maintain broadcast quality
- Maintain, organize, and assist with the setup and storage of camera and production equipment
- Assist with production scheduling, equipment logistics, and production meetings
- Cross-train in the PC Director and Camera Director roles to gain experience across multiple areas of live sports production

The Wausau Woodchucks and Wausau Ignite are members of the Northwoods League and are located in Wausau, WI. Annually drawing in more than 50,000 fans from all over the state of Wisconsin, the Woodchucks and Ignite have a reputation of being a fun, family-friendly option for family and corporate entertainment in Central Wisconsin. The Woodchucks and Ignite annually hire 25-30 interns. Former interns have gone on to work for the Minnesota Twins, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburg Pirates, and many other minor league and collegiate league teams across the nation.
