Videographer Video Editor
Videographer/Video Editor
Videographer / Video Editor (Intern)
Job
Job description
We're a digital-marketing agency serving businesses in various industries — roofing, exteriors, tree service, landscaping, construction. We're growing a video line built around on-site construction and job-site content for contractors, and we're looking for a videographer/editor to help shoot and cut it.
You'll be out at real job sites capturing the work as it happens, then turning that footage into short, sharp videos for our clients' ads, websites, and social. It's hands-on, fast-moving, and you'll see your work go live for actual businesses. Post-production is a big part of the role, so editors who can also shoot are a strong fit.
What you'll do
- Shoot on-site video at contractor job sites (roofing, landscaping, exteriors, and similar).
- Edit footage into polished short-form and long-form videos for social, ads, and client websites.
- Cut for multiple formats and platforms (vertical for social, standard for web/ads).
- Add basic graphics, captions, music, and color/audio cleanup.
- Work from briefs and follow our project workflow (we use ClickUp).
- Deliver on deadline and take direction/feedback on revisions.
What we're looking for
- A demonstrated eye for video — a reel or portfolio of work you shot and/or edited.
- Solid editing skills in a standard tool (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar).
- Comfortable shooting on location and reliable about getting to job sites.
- Organized with files and responsive in communication.
- Current student or recent grad welcome — we'll review your work, not just your résumé.
Nice to have
- Drone experience (Part 107 a plus, not required — optional for this role).
- Motion graphics/titling.
- Experience shooting in outdoor/active work environments.
- Social-first editing instincts (hooks, pacing, captions).
How to apply
Apply through Handshake with:
- Your résumé.
- A reel or portfolio link (this matters more than anything else — we want to see what you've shot and cut).
- A one-line note on whether you fly a drone and what you edit in.
- Email drivenims@gmail.com to ensure we got your application.
