Social Media & Content Creation Intern

Clemente Orthodontics is looking for a creative, outgoing, and social-media-savvy college student to join our team as a Social Media & Content Creation Intern.

This is a great opportunity for a student interested in marketing, social media, content creation, communications, photography, video, or digital media to gain hands-on experience creating content for an established orthodontic practice.

What You’ll Do

The intern will help us create fun, engaging and professional content that showcases the Clemente Orthodontics team, our patients, our office culture, and what makes the Clemente Smile special.

Responsibilities will include:

Visit our office approximately once per month for a content creation day

Take photos and short-form videos during your monthly visit

Create Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, posts and other social media content

Develop a monthly content calendar using the photos and videos collected

Post approximately 3 times per week to our social media platforms

Write engaging captions and help develop creative content ideas

Keep up with current Instagram and TikTok trends and adapt appropriate trends for our brand

Create educational, entertaining and behind-the-scenes content

Highlight our doctors, team members, patient experiences, office events and community involvement

Help maintain a consistent and professional Clemente Orthodontics brand across social media

Brainstorm new ways to increase engagement and grow our online presence

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Creative and comfortable coming up with new content ideas

Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Reels and short-form video

Comfortable taking photos and videos with a smartphone

Able to edit short-form videos using apps such as CapCut, Canva or similar platforms

A strong writer with good communication skills

Organized and able to manage a posting schedule independently

Up to date on social media trends

Friendly, professional and comfortable interacting with our team and patients

Interested in marketing, communications, social media, content creation or digital media

Experience is helpful, but we are more interested in creativity, personality and a willingness to learn.

Schedule

This position is designed to be flexible around a college student's schedule.

The intern would typically:

Come into Clemente Orthodontics approximately once per month to capture enough photos and video content for the upcoming weeks.

The remainder of the work can primarily be completed remotely, including editing content, writing captions, organizing the content calendar and scheduling/posting approximately three social media posts per week.
