Social Media Lead

Node

Location: Boston preferred, other locations open
Work Model: Flexible / Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Lead Lead to join Node as we ramp through beta and move toward public release.

You’ll help lead how Node shows up across social, content, community, partnerships, and broader go-to-market. We’re looking for someone who follows consumer and cultural trends closely, understands why certain consumer brands become culturally interesting, and can turn what is happening across the company into content people actually want to follow.

The role will work closely with the founder, product team, and outside creative partners as we continue building the brand around Node.

What you’ll do

  • Help lead and grow Node’s social channels across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
  • Develop the content calendar and recurring formats around product, design, engineering, events, people, and company building
  • Create and ship short-form video, photography, copy, captions, and other social content
  • Identify moments across the company that are worth turning into stories and content
  • Follow consumer, design, fashion, sport, technology, media, and internet trends and understand what is relevant to Node
  • Help shape creator, athlete, brand, community, and cultural partnerships
  • Support events, product seeding, launches, beta programs, and other go-to-market initiatives
  • Work with photographers, filmmakers, designers, creators, and other collaborators when needed
  • Track what is resonating across channels and use that to continuously improve the content and strategy

About you

  • Strong understanding of social platforms and short-form content
  • Strong writing, creative, and visual instincts
  • Deep interest in consumer brands, culture, and how products build communities around them
  • Comfortable creating and shipping content independently
  • Able to move between day-to-day social execution and broader brand thinking
  • Experience in consumer technology, fashion, design, sport, lifestyle, media, creative agencies, hospitality, creator marketing, or adjacent areas could all be relevant

Nice to have

  • Experience growing an emerging consumer brand or social account
  • Short-form video production and editing experience
  • Experience with creator or influencer partnerships
  • Experience around events, experiential marketing, or community building
  • Familiarity with consumer technology, wearables, or adjacent
  • Experience working across both organic social and larger campaign concepts

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation and equity for full-time roles
  • Flexible PTO
  • Significant ownership over how Node develops and enters the market
  • Direct access to the product, team, events, partnerships, and company-building process
  • Flexibility to structure the role full-time or part-time depending on the person

Boston is preferred because much of the product development and company activity happens here, but we are open to candidates in other locations for the right fit.

We’re intentionally looking across different backgrounds and levels of experience. If the work feels relevant to how you think and what you’ve built, we encourage you to apply even if you do not match every qualification.
