About the Role

The Mason Contractors Association of America is building the MASONRY STRONG Network, a video-first multimedia platform. We are looking for a well-rounded and collaborative Social Media Manager to manage MCAA’s social media accounts, beginning with promotion of MASONRY STRONG Network content.

This entry-level position combines content planning, creation, publishing, audience engagement, paid advertising, and performance tracking. You will work closely with our in-house studio team to bring Network programming to audiences on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, eventually helping develop and execute social media content for Snapchat and TikTok.

Network Promotion: Collaborate with the Cinematographer, Editor, and broader team to promote MASONRY STRONG Network programming through clips, graphics, captions, and coordinated campaigns.

Short-Form Content Creation: Create and edit short-form videos and other social media content, adapting material to the style and audience of each platform.

Audience Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and messages, encourage conversation, and share relevant audience feedback with the team.

Paid Social Advertising: Develop, execute, and monitor paid social campaigns alongside organic content efforts.

Performance & Trends: Track content and campaign performance, share results, and use audience insights and relevant social media trends to improve future content.

Future Platform Development: Eventually help develop and execute social media content for Snapchat and TikTok.

Organization: The ability to manage a content calendar, coordinate with teammates, and keep publishing schedules on track.

Education: Formal education in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, not required.

Team Mindset: A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well in a small, fast-moving shop.

Benefits
