Communication & Marketing Intern
Child Care Associates is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Communications & Marketing Intern to support the organization's storytelling, digital marketing, and communications efforts. This internship provides hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, public relations, social media management, content creation, website updates, and brand communications.
The ideal candidate is interested in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, nonprofit management, or a related field and is eager to build a portfolio while making a meaningful impact in the community.
Responsibilities
The intern may assist with:
- Creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms
- Writing captions, stories, blog posts, newsletters, and website content
- Supporting digital marketing and community outreach campaigns
- Assisting with photography organization and digital asset management
Supporting website improvement projects
- Researching communication trends, community events, and media opportunities
- Monitoring media coverage and compiling reports
- Developing marketing materials, graphics, and promotional content
- Supporting special events through content creation, photography, and event communications
- Assisting with storytelling efforts that highlight the impact of CCA's programs, families, staff, and partners
- Supporting communication plans, talking points, and other organizational messaging needs
