Data Scientist

Pure Tree Solutions LLC is seeking a Data Scientist for hybrid opportunities in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina area. This role is a strong fit for early-career data professionals with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using data science, analytics, machine learning, statistics, and business intelligence tools to solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities
- Build, evaluate, and communicate predictive models, dashboards, and analytical findings
- Use Python, SQL, statistical methods, and data visualization tools to support client projects
- Clean, transform, and validate datasets for reporting, modeling, and decision support
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate data into practical recommendations

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional, internship-based, academic research, or project-based data science experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- Experience with Python, SQL, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in or near RTP, Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Morrisville, or Chapel Hill, NC

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC / Hybrid
