GTM Engineering Intern at Deion

We are looking for an undergraduate GTM Engineering Intern for a 1099 internship contract.  This is a hybrid role with a starting commitment of 4 hours per week.

Qualification for this opportunity requires

  • Submission of a code portfolio link
  • Completion of a demo project
  • At least 8 hours of synchronous meeting availability between 1:00 PM and 5:00 Central Time on weekdays, for the next 3 months

This role may require you to

  • Execute hands-on guerrilla marketing initiatives, including representing Deion at live events and conducting independent, self-driven outreach on the ground
  • Build, maintain, and optimize outbound automation systems, lead scraping workflows, and enrichment pipelines
  • Seamlessly shift between technical execution (writing code for GTM systems) and non-technical field tasks (talking to people and running physical promotional tactics)
  • Integrate CRMs, email marketing platforms, and internal data infrastructure using APIs, webhooks, and Python scripts
  • Implement gritty, resourceful growth experiments across both physical and digital channels
  • Develop internal tools, scripts, and dashboards to support go-to-market operations
  • Collaborate with product marketing, data engineering, and design teams
  • Proactively identify and present opportunities to improve GTM engineering operations and field execution
  • Collaborate with teammates using Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, and other technical stack software 

An ideal candidate has

  • Genuine interest in both software engineering and marketing
  • Equal comfort pitch-side getting in front of prospective customers in person and heads-down implementing GTM systems in code
  • High grit, resourcefulness, and a self-starter mindset to drive guerrilla marketing efforts independently without hand-holding
  • Practical proficiency with Python, SQL, REST APIs, web scraping, and automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience completing technical or growth-focused projects that require high attention to detail 
  • Effective modular thinking skills evidenced by the ability to break down large, intricate undertakings into a series of smaller self-contained tasks
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving entrepreneurial environment 
  • Resourcefulness in troubleshooting technical and operational obstacles independently
  • Emotional intelligence and coachability
