Smart Retail Fulfillment & Data Coordinator

Company: Joy Distribution Vending LLC
Location: Ontario, California
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Compensation: $18–$22 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Five days per week, approximately 40–55 hours based on operational needs. Overtime is paid in accordance with applicable California law.
Benefits: No additional benefits are currently offered.

About the Role

Joy Distribution Vending LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, entry-level Smart Retail Fulfillment & Data Coordinator to join our fast-growing vending and unattended retail business.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will gain hands-on experience across field operations, inventory management, data analysis, product optimization, and client service. You will have a close view of how a growing company operates and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as the business expands.

This is a hands-on field position—not a desk-only role. You will use a company vehicle to visit customer locations, restock machines, collect operational data, assist clients, and turn field observations into practical business improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and restock products at vending and smart retail locations using a company vehicle.
  • Collect accurate machine-level sales, inventory, pricing, and service data.
  • Use spreadsheets, dashboards, and AI-assisted tools to identify sales patterns and operational issues.
  • Help optimize product selection and replenishment quantities to reduce stockouts and waste.
  • Inspect vending machines and report equipment, payment, or connectivity issues.
  • Communicate with on-site clients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse, vehicle, route, and inventory records.
  • Work directly with the CEO to improve smart-retail processes and support new projects.

Qualifications

  • Current college student, recent graduate, or early-career candidate—we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Reliable, organized, curious, and willing to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Interest in AI, data, retail technology, operations, supply chain, or entrepreneurship.
  • Comfortable driving regularly and performing hands-on fulfillment work.
  • Able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Experience with dashboards, inventory systems, SQL, Python, logistics, retail, or customer service is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Gain

You will learn how AI-assisted analytics, sales data, cashless payments, inventory planning, and field operations come together in a modern smart-retail business. This is an opportunity to work closely with the CEO and the founding team, make a visible impact, and grow with the company as it expands.
