  • Assemble and prepare clinical trial specimen kits according to study-specific laboratory specifications and standard operating procedures
  • Perform quality control inspections to verify kit accuracy, completeness, labeling, and compliance with established quality standards
  • Track kit inventory and assist with inventory management activities to ensure adequate supplies and accurate kit availability
  • Organize, store, and transport assembled kits and materials using appropriate material-handling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment
  • Collaborate with laboratory, project management, and operations teams to support production timelines, maintain workflow efficiency, and meet study requirements
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming biological specimens, ensuring all shipments, requisitions, and sample documentation are complete and accurate prior to accessioning
  • Accession clinical trial samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LabWare), including scanning requisitions, entering specimen data, and maintaining accurate records
  • Verify sample identification, labeling, temperature conditions, and protocol requirements while performing quality checks and double-data-entry verification to ensure data integrity
  • Assist in creating air waybills, pro-forma invoices, sample manifests, and import permits
  • Help keep track of appropriate KPI metrics for different lab departments
  • Follow GCP, GCLP, CAP, CLIA, and company SOP requirements
  • Support QA inspections and audits
  • Review and summarize testing results
  • Assist with document filing and record retention 
  • Assist in organizing, composing, and producing professional letters, summaries, reports, minutes, etc, using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proofread documents ensuring grammar, spelling, format, and punctuation are correct
  • Assist in developing capability and training presentations using PowerPoint
  • Create professional binders for distribution to clients and research sites
  • Assist in developing corporate overviews
  • Perform Internet searches and summarize articles on company and product information
  • Assist in data entry, filing, and quality check reviews
  • Network with various departments to learn the operational functions of CTI
  • Participate in community outreach activities, i.e., Adopt-a-Class, Adopt-a-Spot
  • Mentor less tenured Research Associates and act as a resource to the team
  • Manage the front desk / reception responsibilities as well as other administrative office tasks
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned by supervisor
