Human Resources Intern

The Big Picture (Purpose): 

The Human Resources Intern will gain hands-on experience across the HR function, contributing to both day-to-day HR operations and dedicated projects aimed at improving how the team works. The role offers exposure to multiple areas of HR through team rotations, along with the opportunity to make a lasting impact through strategic initiatives. This position is based in Ripon, WI, and is open to students seeking a Summer 2027 internship. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities): 

Assist in creating and updating documents related to HR programs, processes, and policies 

Create and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making 

Support onboarding process improvement by expanding use of the Onboarding module in SAP SuccessFactors 

Rotate through various HR functional teams to gain broad exposure across the HR discipline 

Participate in other HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned 
 

What you need to bring to the table (Experience): 

 
Education and Experience: 

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or similar program and have completed their sophomore year 

Skills and Abilities: 

Proactive self-starter, comfortable learning new systems and technology through hands-on experience without needing to be a technical expert 

Strong communicator, comfortable engaging in person and adapting message to the audience 

Asks effective questions and draws on multiple sources to gather information needed to complete tasks 

Collaborative team player who looks for ways to support and contribute to coworkers' success 

Proficient with Microsoft Office, cloud file-sharing tools (e.g., SharePoint), and AI tools/agents 

Organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on deadlines 

 

Standard and Physical Requirements: 

Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting
