Job Description

Marketing Practice

The Marketing Practice at BNY empowers teams across the enterprise to partner alongside clients. We help drive growth and shape BNY's story and brand presence through strategic campaigns and equip leaders/employees with tools to be brand advocates. We manage the brand narrative via media outreach, foster employee engagement, and deliver content across platforms.

As part of the summer internship program, you could be placed on one of the following teams based on business need and previous experience: 

Platforms Marketing / Product Marketing

Client Segment Marketing

Investments & Wealth Marketing

Brand, Creative, Art & Artifacts

Events, Experiences & Sponsorships

Digital Marketing 

Integrated Channels

Marketing Technology & Data

Planning & Activation

Market Intelligence

AI Strategy & Transformation

Content & Innovation 

 

What you will do 

Support marketing initiatives that help drive growth, strengthen BNY’s brand, and enhance how the firm connects with clients and employees.

Assist with the development of campaigns, content, and communications delivered across channels and platforms.

Contribute to projects that support brand storytelling, media outreach, employee engagement, and audience-focused marketing strategies.

Gain exposure to a range of marketing teams, which may include product marketing, client segment marketing, integrated marketing, brand and creative, digital, demand generation, market intelligence, and marketing strategy.

Summer Internship Program  
The BNY Summer Internship Program offers high-potential students a dynamic 10-week experience designed to accelerate development, build professional networks, and provide meaningful exposure to one of the world's leading financial services institutions. Through a skills-driven talent model, interns gain insight into the capabilities, platforms, and functions that power BNY's global franchise while contributing to impactful business initiatives.  

From day one, interns are immersed in BNY's collaborative and innovative culture through: 

 

Enterprise-wide onboarding and development programming, including an in person immersive induction experience, executive speaker series, skill development, and networking opportunities. 

Meaningful project work aligned to key business practices and platforms, providing hands-on experience, skill development, and real-world business impact. 

Structured mentorship and career support from managers, senior leaders, peer mentors, business stakeholders, and dedicated program managers. 

Exposure across practices, platforms, and teams, building a broad understanding of BNY's integrated business model. 

Professional, technical, and financial services training designed to strengthen business acumen and prepare participants for long-term career success. 

A premier early-career experience, backed by senior leadership and designed to develop the next generation of talent for BNY's global workforce. 

 

Program eligibility:

Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred 

Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.)  

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better    

Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
