About Modern Dose:
Modern Dose is a supplement drink mix brand focused on making everyday wellness easier, more enjoyable, and more effective. We're currently undergoing an exciting brand transformation with a fresh, friendly, and more approachable identity, and preparing to relaunch in February 2027 with our Sleep drink mix.
As we enter this next chapter, we're looking for an energetic, creative, and TikTok-obsessed Social Media Content Creator Intern to help bring the new Modern Dose to life on social and build our community from the ground up.
Who you are:
Modern Dose is looking for a Social Media Content Creator Intern to support day-to-day content creation and social media management for Modern Dose’s social media channels. Reporting directly to the Founder and Lead Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring social media trends and content, with the goal of creating multiple pieces of trend-driven, creative content each week. In addition, you will be responsible for engaging and managing our community on our social media channels through comments and direct messages. You should live and breathe TikTok, have a deep understanding of the platform and be comfortable filming content and being in front of the camera. This position is remote and approximately 10-12 hours per week. The internship will begin in December 2026 and continue through May 2027, with the opportunity to continue beyond the spring semester.

What you’ll do:
- Closely monitor and analyze social media trends and content, with the goal of creating multiple pieces of trend-driven content each week
- Produce, film, and edit video short format TikToks, Reels and other social video content using the latest trends and techniques
- Regularly appear on camera in Modern Dose social content
- Ideate video concepts and develop hooks, scripts, creative references, and simple storyboards alongside the Founder and Lead Social Media Manager
- Share emerging trends, standout content, competitor activity, and creative inspiration with the Founder and Lead Social Media Manager
- Support daily community management by engaging with the Modern Dose community through comments and DMs, and monitoring and tracking influencer and creator mentions
- Bring your own ideas to the table and assist with other social media initiatives developed by you and the team
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled in college or university; coursework or experience in marketing, communications, media, video production, or a related field is helpful but not required
- A passion for social media and a comprehensive understanding of TikTok and Instagram
- Experience creating short-form social content
- Skilled in filming and editing social media video content using TikTok, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
- Comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera
- A deep understanding of social media trends and a strong point of view on what makes content engaging, entertaining, and native to each platform through a brand lens
- Constantly discovering new trends, formats, creators, sounds, hooks, and editing styles
- Creative, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Flexible, nimble, and ready to shift gears quickly to take advantage of timely social opportunities
What you'll learn:

- Short-form video ideation, filming, editing, feedback, and iteration

- The basics of social reporting, including how to evaluate views, watch time, engagement, saves, shares, and qualitative audience response
- How brand, legal, and product-claim considerations shape wellness content
Compensation: Hourly; Compensation will be discussed with selected candidates.
