About AlphaSuit

AlphaSuit is a custom menswear and made-to-measure tailoring company based in Columbus, Ohio. We specialize in custom suits, shirts, and menswear for weddings, business, special events, and everyday style.

We’re looking for a creative, motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern to help take ownership of AlphaSuit’s social media presence and bring fresh ideas to how we showcase our brand in the Columbus community.

The Role

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who loves social media, creating content, and coming up with new ideas. You’ll help manage AlphaSuit’s social media across platforms while finding creative ways to increase engagement, grow our audience, and promote our services locally.

We’re looking for someone who can take initiative and say, “Here’s an idea we should try,” rather than simply waiting to be told what to post.

What You’ll Do

Brainstorm and develop fresh, creative social media content ideas

Help plan and maintain a consistent content calendar

Edit and post videos, Reels, TikToks, photos, and other content across social platforms

Help manage AlphaSuit’s presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms

Occasionally come into our Columbus studio to help film content

Help identify trending sounds, formats, and social media opportunities

Respond to comments and engage with our audience

Invite people to follow, like, and support AlphaSuit’s social media pages

Help promote AlphaSuit within the Columbus, Ohio community

Monitor post performance and identify what content is working

Bring new ideas for growing our audience and increasing engagement

Potentially assist with creating and managing advertising campaigns through Meta and Google

Help develop creative concepts for advertisements and promotional campaigns

Research local trends, businesses, events, and opportunities that could help increase AlphaSuit’s visibility

Help keep our social media presence active, current, and cohesive

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

Creative and full of ideas

Comfortable with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends

Familiar with video editing apps such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools

Comfortable writing captions and creating engaging social content

Proactive and able to work independently

Interested in marketing, social media, communications, fashion, or business

Comfortable being around a professional retail/studio environment

Organized and able to keep up with a consistent posting schedule

Interested in learning about paid advertising through Meta and Google

Someone who understands that social media is about more than simply posting — it’s about engaging with an audience and growing a business

Studio Availability

This position is primarily flexible/part-time and can include remote work. However, occasional availability to come into our Columbus studio to film content is strongly preferred.

We are looking for someone who can become familiar with the AlphaSuit brand and eventually take ownership of much of our day-to-day social media activity.

Hours & Compensation

Up to 10 hours per week

Flexible schedule

Combination of remote work and occasional in-studio filming

Part-time internship opportunity

Compensation: $15-$18/hr
