Social Media Intern – Part-Time

Nuts on Clark is looking for a creative, energetic, and social-media-savvy Social Media Intern to help bring our brand to life online. This is a part-time, hands-on position for someone who loves creating content, following social trends, and telling stories through photos and video.

The ideal candidate is comfortable creating content independently, understands the major social media platforms, and can capture and edit engaging content at our locations and events.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging photo and video content for social media
• Assist with managing content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
• Film short-form videos, Reels, Stories, and behind-the-scenes content
• Edit photos and videos for social media
• Design graphics and promotional content using Canva
• Help develop and maintain a social media content calendar
• Stay current on social media trends, sounds, formats, and platform best practices
• Visit Nuts on Clark locations to capture fresh content
• Assist with content creation for promotions, new products, seasonal campaigns, events, and partnerships
• Engage with the Nuts on Clark community and help grow our online presence
• Track basic social media performance and identify content that performs well

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other major social media platforms
• Experience creating and editing short-form video content
• Proficiency with Canva
• Familiarity with video and photo editing tools
• Strong creative eye and understanding of what makes social content engaging
• Comfortable taking photos and videos in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable car for travel between locations and content shoots

Previous social media, marketing, photography, videography, or content creation experience is preferred. College students studying marketing, communications, advertising, digital media, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

Schedule: Part-time
Location: Chicago area; travel between Nuts on Clark locations may be required
Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle required
