Web QA & Product Operations
Web QA & Product Operations Intern
IPSTUDIO | Part-Time Internship
IPSTUDIO builds websites and software products specifically for boutique fitness studios, connecting studio websites with booking, memberships, schedules, ecommerce, video, and other digital experiences.
We're looking for a detail-oriented Web QA & Product Operations Intern to help us test websites and products before they reach fitness studios and their customers.
You don't need to be a software engineer. You do need to be the kind of person who notices when something doesn't work the way it should.
What You'll Do
Test new fitness studio websites before launch
Review websites across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Test navigation, links, forms, buttons, and responsive layouts
Test class schedules, pricing, account, registration, and booking experiences
Review website content for inconsistencies and obvious errors
Follow structured QA and launch checklists
Document bugs clearly so developers can reproduce and resolve them
Retest fixes before projects are approved for launch
Help QA new IPSTUDIO product features and releases
Maintain testing documentation and improve QA processes
Identify recurring usability issues and opportunities to improve the customer experience
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in information systems, computer science, UX/UI, digital media, business technology, or a related field
Exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable navigating websites and mobile apps
Able to clearly describe what went wrong and how to reproduce it
Organized and comfortable following structured testing procedures
Curious about how websites, APIs, integrations, and SaaS products work
Basic HTML/CSS, browser developer tools, WordPress, or software testing experience is a plus, but not required
Fitness Industry Experience Preferred
We strongly prefer candidates who are members or regular customers of boutique fitness studios.
Experience booking Pilates, Lagree, yoga, cycling, barre, HIIT, or other studio classes gives you valuable context for this role.
You'll be testing the same types of experiences you use as a customer: finding a class, viewing an instructor, purchasing a membership, checking a schedule, logging into an account, or booking your next workout.
Previous experience working at a fitness studio is a plus, but not required.
What You'll Learn
You'll get hands-on experience with quality assurance, web development workflows, SaaS products, integrations, product releases, and real-world customer experience testing.
You'll work alongside developers while learning how digital products move from development to QA to production.
