AI Engineering Intern

Interlock Systems helps manufacturers get parts to the factory floor in days, instead of weeks. We're an early stage start-up out of Harvard building AI agents that plug straight into a factory's ERP systems and run the coordination work that normally drags a job through weeks of back-and-forth. 

You'll work directly with the founders building and shipping core products. You'll be writing the code that lets agents read and write directly into a factory's ERP, building the interfaces the customer's team uses every day, and working on the AI layer that ties it all together.

What we're looking for

• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend framework
• Comfortable across the stack, frontend to database
• Experience with or real interest in LLM/AI APIs
• You move fast without needing a lot of hand-holding

Nice to have

• Exposure to manufacturing, ERP, or industrial software
• Relevant work experience
• Familiarity with data pipelines or backend integrations
