Trilobio builds lab automation robots (the Trilobot) that help scientists run experiments faster and more reliably. We're a small, engineering-heavy team based in San Francisco building the future of automated science.
The Role
We're looking for a creative, self-directed social media marketer to build our presence from the ground up on Instagram and TikTok, and refresh our approach on LinkedIn. You'll own content strategy and execution across all three platforms.
What You'll Do
- Launch new Instagram and TikTok accounts for Trilobio — establish visual identity, content pillars, and posting cadence
- Create original content (Reels, short-form video, photos, graphics) that makes lab automation and robotics engaging to a broader audience
- Post consistently on Instagram/TikTok to build an audience from zero
- Evolve our LinkedIn presence — shift from a purely corporate tone toward more dynamic, engaging content while maintaining professionalism for a technical/scientific audience
- Track performance and iterate on what's working (engagement, follower growth, reach)
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience growing a brand's social presence, ideally from scratch
- Strong short-form video skills (filming, editing, trends)
- Ability to translate technical/scientific content into approachable, engaging posts
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight
- Especially interested in candidates with a background in science — particularly biology — or who have created content for science/biotech/health brands. You don't need to be a scientist, but comfort with scientific subject matter is a big plus.
