TikTok Shop Intern

Role Summary

The TikTok Shop Intern will gain hands-on, practical experience in social commerce and creator marketing by assisting the Brand Partnerships team with administrative, sourcing, and logistical tasks. This position offers exposure to how a direct-to-consumer brand builds creator relationships and scales revenue on TikTok Shop. Under direct supervision from the Manager, the Intern will assist with creator research, sample tracking, database maintenance, and PR package assembly.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Creator Research: Learn to identify brand-aligned TikTok creators by conducting daily platform searches using hashtags, trends, and creator marketplace filters.
  • Outreach Support: Help draft and send initial outreach messages and campaign invites to prospective creator partners under Manager guidance.
  • Sample Tracking: Assist with inputting shipping details, placing sample requests, and keeping track of pending creator deliveries.
  • PR Mailer Packing: Participate in monthly hands-on packing days to help assemble PR mailers, influencer gifts, and promotional product packages.
  • Database Updates: Assist in maintaining clean creator rosters, logging links to live creator videos, and organizing user-generated content into shared team folders.
  • Administrative Support: Help monitor team inboxes and assist with routine task updates in team spreadsheets and task management software.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education / Experience: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; prior internship experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Platform Passion: Avid user of TikTok with an active interest in creator culture, social media trends, and online shopping.
  • Skills: Good organizational habits, strong written communication, reliability, and close attention to detail.
  • Software: Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
  • Schedule & Physical Requirements: Ability to work 15–20 flexible hours per week and participate in monthly on-site/hands-on packaging sessions (lifting boxes up to 30 lbs).
