Creative Editor and Content Producer
We’re a fast-growing small-business finance company producing a high volume of short-form video, and we’re hiring an edit-heavy producer to support our social lead and keep the content engine running — shooting, editing, publishing, and all.
Our founder shoots in focused blocks — 20 to 40 hooks a session. Your core job is turning that raw footage into finished, scroll-stopping videos, then multiplying each core call into roughly 30 variant cuts with different hooks and CTAs. Around that, you’ll design the thumbnails, write the captions, and get every post scheduled and live on our existing content calendar. You’ll also shoot alongside our social lead for her content, keep the research and hook bank stocked, and write the scripts that feed the next shoot.
You’ll own:
- Editing raw hook footage into finished, on-template, captioned social videos
- Multiplying each core call into ~30 hook/CTA variant cuts
- Designing thumbnails and writing captions for every post
- Scheduling and publishing content on our existing calendar
- Researching top-performing hooks and formats and keeping a ranked hook bank
- Writing and queuing hooks and scripts ahead of every shoot
- Filming alongside our social lead for her content
- Scheduling the founder’s shoot sessions
- Executing against our social lead’s creative direction
You are:
- A strong Premiere Pro editor who’s cut short-form at volume — this is a production-heavy seat
- Heavy in Canva, with a sharp eye for design
- Fluent in AI editing tools (Opus Clip / CapCut / Descript) and fast with high-volume clip production
- Comfortable behind a camera
- A sharp writer who understands why a hook works
- Fluent in the short-form landscape and relentlessly organized
- Illustrator/Photoshop and a finance/business background are pluses.
