Social Media & Newsletter Intern – Orlando - Spring 2027

The Orlando Campus Social Media & Newsletter Intern supports church communication by creating content, capturing moments, and sharing updates through social media and newsletters to keep the community informed and engaged. This experience will be tailored to your individual needs to help you identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.

Basic Requirements:

  • Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior- This is an absolute requirement for all interns.

  • Have a servant's heart and be ready to jump in and serve
  • Creativity and attention to detail including proofreading
  • Photography/video skills as evidenced through a portfolio submission
  • Strong writing and communication skills, basic computer and social media skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation/Social Media Management including creating engaging posts 
  • Photography and videography at Sunday services and events
  • Monitor engagement (likes, comments, messages) and respond when appropriate
  • Newsletter Support including content gathering, creation, formatting, and distribution
  • Event Coverage, Media Organization & Planning

General info:

Expect to be on the Real Life Orlando campus (2565 E. Kaley Ave, Orlando FL, 32806) at least 3 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week.

Typical hours would be Sunday 8am-1pm, Monday 10am-12pm and Wednesday 5:30pm-8:30pm (plus 5-10 additional hours Monday-Thursday) which will be coordinated with your mentor. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with appropriate notice.

The internship is 12 weeks long from Sunday January 31st - Thursday April 22nd. No spring break is built into the schedule, but can be discussed with the team. 

Pay: $150.00 per week.
