What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life of a Corporate Finance Intern

As a Corporate Finance Intern, you will work closely with the Corporate Finance team on both recurring responsibilities and projects that provide exposure to financial reporting and analysis, planning and forecasting, enterprise financial performance and technology-related financial management. You will assist with monthly reporting and forecasts, analyze financial data and variances, and help prepare presentations and reports for business partners and leadership.

In this role, you’ll gain broad exposure to finance across Western & Southern and help turn financial data into meaningful insights that support planning, performance management and business decision-making.

Required:

• Rising junior or rising senior with a minimum GPA of 3.25
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
• Strong communications skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively

Preferred:

• Interest in corporate finance, financial analysis, planning or forecasting
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting or presentations
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Tools & Technologies You’ll Work With:

• Microsoft Excel: Analyze financial data, trends, forecasts and variances.
• Microsoft PowerPoint: Prepare clear, concise presentations and financial materials.
• Workday Adaptive Planning: Support financial planning, forecasting and reporting activities.
• Apptio: Support technology financial management, including analysis and reporting of IT costs.
