Position Summary:   

 

The Division of Student Life is accepting applications for a Program Coordinator to support the Startup and Innovation Collaboratory. In this role, you will join a collaborative, student-centered team focused on connecting University at Buffalo students with entrepreneurial resources, expertise, and networks from the campus and greater Western New York community.

 

As Program Coordinator, you will lead and manage our portfolio of entrepreneurial development programs designed to encourage, inspire, and empower our future innovators and makers.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Coordinate entrepreneurial training programs by organizing resources, alumni, and community partners who deliver workshops, panels, mentorship, and program experiences
  • Program coordination, stakeholder management, logistics, and operations to ensure high-quality delivery of programming
  • Support students and partners by managing schedules, communications, and program infrastructure

     

Due to the nature of our work, some evenings and weekends are required.

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or master’s degree or professional certification
  • Experience coordinating programs, events, or partnerships.
  • Experience working with college students, volunteers, or community partners.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple schedules, stakeholders, and logistical details concurrently.

 

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in higher education, nonprofit, entrepreneurship programs, or community-based initiatives.
  • Experience working with alumni, external partners, or professional volunteers.
  • Experience supporting event logistics, program communications, or stakeholder coordination.
  • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, startups, or economic development ecosystems.

Salary Range:

 

$57,151 - $60,000
