Job Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator performs a variety of administrative and operational functions that support the employee lifecycle and daily HR operations. This role coordinates onboarding activities, manages employee data and employment records, processes employee transactions, supports compliance and audit activities, and serves as a resource for HR-related inquiries. The position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant HR processes while providing support across the broader Human Resources function.
Essential Functions
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Utilizes Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to manage onboarding activities and employee data.
- Coordinates onboarding communications, identity verification, and other pre-employment requirements, including the management of Form I-9 and E-Verify creation, storage, maintenance, and destruction requirements.
- Processes employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, transfers, supervisor updates, organizational changes, and offboarding activities, while partnering across HR and business functions to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Serves as a resource for employees, leaders, and external customers by responding to HR-related inquiries, processing employment verification requests and providing guidance on policies, procedures, systems and processes.
- Manages the HR inbox and distribution of physical mail and triages inquiries to appropriate stakeholders.
- Performs audits and maintains records related to employee data, performance review completion, professional license requirements, background checks, immigration documentation, and other compliance or employment-related requirements.
- Supports HR reporting, data collection, projects, and continuous process improvement initiatives that advance HR operational and organizational goals.
- Manages Employee Center workflows for HR-related access and approval requests.
- Provides administrative and operational support across the HR function and assists with team workload as needed.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of HR SharePoint.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in HR, Business, or related field OR equivalent work experience
- Basic Microsoft Office experience
- Proficient in typing
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Above requirements and the following:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field OR 4 years' HR or related experience
- 1-year HR Experience
- 1-year customer-facing experience
- Certification in one of the following: aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP (Associate professional in HR, Professional in HR, Society of HR Management-Certified Professional)
Environment and Cognitive/Physical Demands
- Office Environment
- Ability to read, hear, speak, keyboard, reason, communicate effectively and problem solve
- Requires prolonged sitting and telephone use
- Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, copiers and printers
- Infrequent lifting to 15 pounds

The pay range for this position is $20.65 - $24.30 per hour. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
