Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary
Sensapure Flavors is a fast-paced, innovative, Salt Lake City-based flavor house with a dedicated team of industry veterans, exceptional flavor chemists, and product development/applications experts. We create and provide flavor systems for food and nutrition companies across the globe.

The primary purpose of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to grow business at Sensapure Flavors by managing our website, digital analytics, and email marketing programs. You will maintain and update our website and CMS, and use tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and keyword research to guide SEO and content decisions. You will also build and track targeted email campaigns and keep our CRM and project databases (Insightly and Monday.com) current. A solid grasp of basic web design concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is important for this role, and experience with Webflow is a strong plus.


Main Job Functions:
1. Manage and maintain the company website, including building new webpages and updating existing content
2. Make routine updates to website structure and styling using basic HTML/CSS knowledge
3. With the CMO and Business Development Director, you will identify and analyze growth opportunities with potential clients and target them in our digital marketing efforts
4. This will require some prospecting work – research, finding, contact information, etc.
5. Manage the CMS to keep content organized, accurate, and up to date
6. Monitor and report on website performance using Google Analytics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
7. Conduct SEO analysis and keyword research using Ahrefs and other tools to guide on-page and content optimization
8. Create, deploy, and track targeted email marketing campaigns, monitoring performance metrics and refining based on results
9. Manage and maintain marketing and project data in Insightly and Monday.com
10. Compile and maintain regular status reports on website performance, SEO, and email campaign metrics
11. Other duties as assigned

Education/Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required
1-2 years of digital marketing experience preferred
Familiarity with basic web design concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) preferred; experience with Webflow or a similar CMS is a plus

• Working knowledge of basic web design concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); experience with Webflow is strongly preferred but not required
• Experience with Google Analytics, Ahrefs (or comparable SEO tools), and keyword research
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an understanding of CRM and project management systems
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit and displays a high amount of professionalism

Work Environment:
This position works in an office environment.  Seldom exposure to fumes, dust or other airborne particles and exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans.  

Physical Requirements:
The position is almost constantly sitting, talking, hearing/listening and standing.  Seldom standing, walking, bending/stooping, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 20 lbs.
