About the Role
As BRC’s Content Marketing Intern, you will help create the original written content behind our marketing engine.
Your primary focus will be researching, drafting, revising, and preparing one high-quality SEO blog each week. Your work will also provide the source material for BRC’s website, LinkedIn newsletter, social content, short-form videos, founder insights, and future sales resources.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants real experience developing a point of view, learning SEO, and producing published content for a growing company.
What You’ll Do
- Research, outline, draft, and revise approximately one original SEO blog each week.
- Research startup hiring, GTM roles, recruiting trends, compensation, candidate experience, and related topics.
- Turn approved topics into clear content briefs with the intended audience, search intent, keyword, angle, structure, and takeaway.
- Apply BRC’s SEO standards, including natural keyword use, effective headings, relevant links, metadata recommendations, and reader-friendly formatting.
- Participate in weekly content brainstorms and draft-review meetings.
- Incorporate feedback, strengthen drafts, verify facts, and prepare content for publication.
- Adapt selected blog posts into BRC LinkedIn newsletter editions.
- Support research and early drafting for BRC Field Notes, hiring insights, and future research projects.
- Identify strong lines, statistics, examples, and takeaways that the social team can turn into posts, carousels, and short-form videos.
- Maintain content titles, keywords, deadlines, draft links, published links, and statuses in Notion.
- Write in BRC’s voice while protecting confidential client and candidate information.

Who You Are
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field
- Eligible to receive academic credit through your college or university
- A strong writer who can make complex ideas clear, structured, and engaging
- Curious and comfortable researching unfamiliar business and hiring topics
- Detail-oriented, receptive to feedback, and willing to revise your work
- Organized and able to manage deadlines independently
- Comfortable collaborating remotely through Notion, Slack, and Microsoft 365
- Interested in startups, recruiting, marketing, SEO, or the future of work
- Comfortable using AI tools thoughtfully while applying your own judgment and verifying the final work
Compensation and Academic Credit
This internship includes a $500 stipend for the semester plus academic credit. The selected intern must coordinate with their college or university to complete any required academic-credit documentation.
